  • Introduce how aerial photography can be used in measurement, media shooting to improve efficiency and effectiveness

  • H5P can help add interactivity to videos, presentations, and asynchronous eLearning courses. H5P can help add hotspots, supplemental text, or multiple choice and fill-in-the blank questions to a video. Troggering an interactive element can pause the video; responses can cause the learner to skip to the appropriate section of the video.
  • Veyon is a free open-source software for computer monitoring and classroom management supporting Linux and Windows. It’s primarily targeted at the educational sector. Veyon enables teachers to remotely monitor and control students’ computers.

  • uReply - Good teacher-student interactions and communications are key to many modern teaching and learning concepts, such as active learning and student-oriented learning. It was developed at the CUHK and now have users across many of the UGC-funded universities.

Workshop: Uphold of copyright rules and enhanced measures for compliance with copyright ordinance

On 7 August, 2017, VTC held a seminar to explain VTC policy and enhanced measures to comply with copyright ordinance. This may affect instructors in preparing their teaching material in the new academic year; esp. copyrighted material could not be copied or distributed either in print form or online. Students may also need to understand copyright rules to adjust their expectations from the instructors in providing learning material.
