Mr LI Tak Man, Edmund has assumed the role of Vice President (Operation and Enterprise) of THEi with effect from 1 September 2023.  Mr Li will support the President of THEi in developing, formulating and implementing the Institute’s strategies and annual plans of the Operating Units in line with the Institute’s overall strategy.  He will also lead, manage and coordinate strategic functions and operations of the six Operating Units of the Institute, namely, Finance Office, Learning Commons and Digital Innovation, Registry (Human Resources, Academic Services and Administration and Facilities Management), Research Office, Student Development Office, as well as the Project Office.

Prior to commencement of the Vice President (Operation and Enterprise) role in THEi, Mr Li was the Director of Finance at Hong Kong Baptist University.  Mr Li has over 30 years of financial management experience across public and private sectors including 10 years in tertiary education.  He has a diversified working experience across tertiary education, government statutory, NGOs and commercial sectors.  Over the recent 14 years, he spent his career in the higher education sector, mainly in finance management.  He has a structured and solid foundation in higher education management.
