Chinese Tea Guest Lecture by Wing Yuen Tea House

Student Activity

Module convenor of Cuisine Culture, Carol LEE, invited Celia WONG from Wing Yeun Tea House to share her knowledge of Chinese tea with Year One students of the Culinary Arts and Management (CAM) programme.  Celia delivered the lecture at her shop, which is located on Peel Street. Students were first introduced to the history of Chinese tea, which then lead to them being shown how to distinguish between Chinese and English tea. Towards the end of the lecture, students were given the opportunity to make their own cup of tea with Celia’s guidance.
