Social Innovation

Prof. Kin-man CHAN

Associate Professor, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

Date:     19th October 2015 (Monday)

Time:    8:30 am to 10:00 am

Venue: Lecture Theatre 3, THEi Building (KT)

Abstract

The lecture examines how social innovation has evolved as a new way to tackle social problems. The execution of this novel solution particularly in a context like Hong Kong relies much on the citizens' courage to think outside the box and create cross-sector synergy. Different cases of social enterprise among Hong Kong, Taiwan and other places will be examined in this talk. All THEi staff and students are welcome.
