Mr. Jevi Kwok is a Lecturer I at THEi’s Faculty of Design and Environment teaching design studios, geographical information systems, and visualisations. He is also a practicing architectural and landscape designer based in Hong Kong. His project ranged from art installations to residential and commercial complexes, from public utilities and institutions such as lavatory, school, and hospital to urban landscape master planning.
He received numerous design recognition with his works, including several local design and planning competitions from 2009 to 2018; Merit Award, Building for Park, design for QianHai, The Greater Bay Area, 2020; Honourable Mention, Central Glass International Architectural Design Competition, Japan, 2020.
As a designer, he sees landscape and architecture as one to provide a holistic design and create a sustainable built environment; more importantly, not only physical forms will be made, but also people interactions, living lifestyles, and communities are created, which intangibly adds values over forms and spaces.
