THEi advertising student work have been selected by an International Exhibition
Congratulations to Miss Leung Kay-yan, our Year-2 student in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Advertising programme, whose 2 posters, Origin (1) and Origin (2), have been selected for the International Exhibition: Student Work of the 26th International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno 2014 in the Czech Republic. Only 4 works from China and 2 from Hong Kong have been chosen from a total of 2,012 submissions from 867 students from 43 countries this year. She is the only design student from Hong Kong in this year’s exhibition, which starts in June.
The International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno, founded by Jan Rajlichsen and Jiří Hlušička in 1963, is one of the oldest and most important events in the field of visual communication worldwide. It has played host to many graphic design luminaries as Saul Bass, Tadanori Yokoo and Hermann Zapf. Ms Leung’s works will appear with those from such famous design schools as Bauhaus, Basel and Yale.
