Student Engagement Activities Session
Student Engagement Activities Session aims to provide orientation activities for our new students to connect and adjust to the degree study life at THEi. Students will have the opportunity to get acquainted with faculty students and get introduced to the importance of core competencies such as communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, and teamwork.

Student Services Information Sessions will introduce the essential student support services offered by different academic supporting units.
Student Services Information Sessions
- 1. Academic Services
- Showcase of services provided by the Registry
- Walk-through on online systems (i.e. MyPortal)
- Reminders on Advance Standing, Add/ Drop of module and NMTSS
- 2. Student Financial Assistance Schemes, scholarships and SDO services
- An overview of available financial assistance schemes and scholarships
- An overview of the counselling services and career services provided by SDO
- 3. Introducing the Centre for Learning Enhancement
- To introduce new students to the services of the Centre for Learning Enhancement
- To highlight English language development opportunities and support types
- The orientation sessions will include:
- games and quizzes to introduce CLE services
- sharing by students about their experience with CLE
- 4. Introduction to IT and Library Services
- To introduce THEi App, including download, installation and essential functions
- To introduce Library Services, including e-databases, borrowing privileges, and printing services to support different learning needs.
