AWARDS COMPETITION
Awards are given to the outstanding THEi student researchers of SARP2021. There are two types of award - Best Poster Award & Best Video Presentation Award. All the posters and videos submitted by the students are entered into the competition.
All visitors can vote for their favourite posters and video presentation. The students whose presentations obtain the highest votes are the winners.
BEST POSTER AWARDS
These awards are given to the most outstanding poster(s) from each faculty. The prizes are:
1x Grand Prize |
$1,000 |
2x Merit Prizes |
$500 |
BEST VIDEO PRESENTATION AWARD
This award is given to the single most outstanding video presentation of this year. The prize is:
1x Overall Winner |
$2,000 |
VOTING GUIDE
WHO CAN VOTE?
Voting is open for ALL.
You need to vote with a valid institutional / company email address, ie. an email provided by your employer or school, e.g. xxx@vtc.edu.hk, xxx@hku.hk. or xxx@clp.com.hk.
Public domain email addresses will not be accepted, e.g. xxx@gmail.com, xxx@hotmail.com or xxx@163.com, etc. Votes casted using a public domain email address will be discarded.
WHEN CAN I VOTE?
The voting period is 1 – 10 August 2021.
HOW DO I VOTE?
You have FOUR votes in total. You can select ONE poster from each faculty, and ONE video from all the video presentations.
To vote, you need to be connected to the internet. Click the banner/button that says “Click to Vote...” on the webpage. This will open the voting form for that particular faculty. Fill in the form to cast your vote. Complete one form for each faculty. If more than one poster or video is entered on a single voting form, that vote will be discarded.
CAN I CHANGE MY VOTE?
Yes. If you have already submitted your votes but changed your mind, just return to that faculty's poster page, click the “Click Here to Vote” button and fill in another form. The same email address must be used for your re-vote. The latest vote will be counted as the valid one.
