Study Subsidy Scheme for Designated Professions/Sectors (SSSDP) for Academic Year 2016/17

Vacant Subsidised Places (2nd Round Replacement)

Applications are now invited for admission to the following full-time Degree Programmes offered under the SSSDP starting from Semester Two, 2016/17:

 

  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Product Design

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Environmental Engineering and Management

 

Interested applicants please submit the completed application form together with copy(ies) of the academic transcript(s)/certificate(s) to the Registry via email at thei-reg@vtc.edu.hk on or before 22 March 2017.  The original academic transcript(s)/certificate(s) must be produced for verification should a study place be offered.  Late application will not be accepted.

  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Landscape Architecture

  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Horticulture and Landscape Management

  • Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Culinary Arts and Management

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Environmental Engineering and Management

Vacant Subsidised Places -  Non-JUPAS Applicants (10% Unfilled Intake Places) 

(Deadline for application: 29 August 2016, 5:00 p.m.)

 

The intake places of programmes under the SSSDP are mainly allocated through the JUPAS. Should there be unfilled intake places after all admission rounds of JUPAS, the SSSDP participating institution will admit local non-JUPAS applicants* via direct admission of no more than 10% of the subsidised places of each selected programme.

Interested local non-JUPAS applicants* please submit your application via the VTC Web-based Admissions System on or before 29 August 2016 (5:00 p.m.).  Late application will not be accepted.

*Local non-JUPAS applicants are referred to:

  1. those without any HKDSE Examination results (Past and/or Current);
  2. those with other academic results only;
  3. those with a combination of HKDSE Examination and other academic results which TOGETHER may make them eligible for application to the 9 JUPAS participating-institutions and the SSSDP institutions but have not applied for 2016 admission through the JUPAS; or
  4. those who are currently enrolled in a full-time or sandwich bachelor's degree programme offered under JUPAS.
