Gold Award & ‘My Favorite Micro-film award’

THEi Faculty of Design students won both the Gold Award and “My Favorite Micro-film” award in the “Innovation・Technology・Industries” Microfilm Competition 2014 (Student Category).  Congratulations to Jimmy Lee, our Year-3 student of Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Advertising, and his team members Eddie Li, Jerry Chan, Thianika Wong and Jojo Tong.

There were a total of 136 microfilm proposals received from both Open and Student category, which included entries from UGC-funded universities and several institutes. Only 6 finalists of the Student category have been funded up to HK$30,000 for the production of a 6-8 minutes microfilm.  The finalists will receive over HK$30,000 of prizes and will be nominated to other overseas micro-film competitions.

“Innovation・Technology・ Industries” Microfilm Competition is organized by Hong Kong Productivity Council under funding support of the General Support Program of the Innovation and Technology Fund.  This competition aims to encourage creative content production for the related topics and to raise public awareness of the role of innovation & technology of various industries' development in Hong Kong.
