The seminar attracted more than 100 students from the Department of Construction Technology and Engineering

On the 1st December 2017, the Faculty of Science and Technology, THEi organized a seminar on the topic of air quality management in Hong Kong. Delivered by Ir MOK Wai Chuen, Adviser of Jockey Club Heavy Vehicle Emissions Testing and Research Center and the former Assistant Director on Air Policy of Environmental Protection Department (EPD), the seminar attracted more than 100 students from the Department of Construction Technology and Engineering.

 

In the seminar, Ir MOK walked students through the air pollution challenges and the management strategies and measures of Hong Kong. He also shed light on the factors critical to the adoption and implementation of major air pollution control measures, and the ways to tackle the remaining air quality challenges.
