Scholarship presentation ceremony cum student sharing session of THEi Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Horticulture and Landscape Management (BA HLM) was successfully held on 31 August 2017. The ceremony invited Mr. Frank C.M. YIK, General Manager of Ryoden Development Charitable Trust, Prof. L.M. CHU, Chairman of Hong Kong Institute of Horticultural Science, Mr. Brian L.Y. CHENG, Vice-Chairman of Hong Kong Greening Contractors Association, Ms. Prisca TSUI, Landscape Manager of Hong Kong Golf Club, Ms. Ida LEUNG, Operation Director of Baguio Green Group, Prof. Leslie H.C. CHEN, Dean of THEi Faculty of Design and Environment, and Dr. Allen ZHANG, Programme Leader of BA HLM to officiate the ceremony. Representatives from City Landscaping Company Limited, Dynamic Source Limited, Hong Kong Institute of Horticultural Science and Lumina College and all students and academic staff from BA HLM also attended the scholarship presentation ceremony. Nineteen of BA HLM students were awarded and two of the recipients, Ms. HO Sum Yi and Mr. LEE Kai Chun, shared their valuable experience in Shenzhen study trip, THEi-MIT environmental student summer camp and summer internship with the new HLM students. It is believed that the scholarship and internship is certainly a great support and encouragement to students!
