PRM in High-level Regional Event - In2 Innovation Summit 2017

Forums, Workshops & Seminars

THEi’s Public Relations Management (PRM) Programme was invited to attend ‘The Holmes Report's In2Summit’ series at the Marriot Hotel in Hong Kong.  It is a high-level event designed for senior practitioners to address the critical issues impacting engagement, ranging from analytics, digital tech and content marketing, to big data, visual storytelling and new talent.  The fourth Asia-Pacific edition of the In2Summit took place on 14 September 2017 and is being kicked off by Paul Holmes (pictured), founder and chair of The Holmes Group.  Paul has been writing about public relations for more than 25 years. He began his career in local newspapers in the north of England and also worked for a newspaper group in South London before joining PR Week as news editor in 1985.

Led by Professor Leslie Yip, Programme Leader of PRM, Associate Dean and Head of Department, Department of Business Management, Faculty of Management and Hospitality, and Ms. Susan Chan, Teaching Fellow of PRM, selected PRM students took part in the 2017 In2Summit to explore ways in which the scope, structure, language—indeed, the very definition—of communication is changing. This was an industry event beneficial to PRM students who want to stay close to the pulse of the communications industry on a local and global basis.
