Tree brown root rot disease is caused by harmful Phellinus noxius, which is a white simultaneous rot fungus. The disease is widespread in tropical and subtropical regions, and it is one of the most serious diseases for urban trees in Hong Kong.
According to the past references, there is no direct way to treat the infection of brown root rot disease.
We are pleased to invite Dr. Hu from Taiwan to give us a lecture on the principles of brown root rot disease and its spread. Dr. Hu will also introduce Taiwan-related prevention and control of the disease.
