Seminar 1 – “Urban Soil Science” in Seminar Series “Arboriculture and Sustainable Urban Forest Management”

The seminar "Urban Soil Science" is the first of the seminar series “Arboriculture and Sustainable Urban Forest Management”.

 

The seminar series is organized by Bachelor of Arts in Horticulture and Landscape Management Programme, Faculty of Design and Environment, THEi (Chai Wan). The three seminars in the series cover the topics “Urban Soil Science”, “Pests, Diseases and Tree Decline” and “Urban Tree Planting and Management”. Local and overseas experts are invited to share their expertise on the topic. The seminar series aims to give decision-makers, industry professionals and practitioners insights on urban forest management through serving as a platform to allow interflow of professional information among local and overseas experts. It is also hoped that the series will raise social awareness of the public on the topic of urban forestry.

 

Free admission and all are welcome (Seats are on a first-come-first-serve basis).
